Islands of Arctic Ocean (for Short Story Slam Week 23)

Bluebell Books Twitter Club : Short Story Slam Week 23

Icy polar winds lash the high cliffs,
Far in the rainforest,
Reindeer turn on their glittering charm,
dashing behind handsome ponies,
while musk-oxen have sips of water
near the fish-rich river,
Eider’s nests are nestled on top
of the trees, their feathers differ in qualities,
A group of five seals pop their heads
to bask in July sunlight,
daydreaming their first public appearance,
Arctic beavers play hide and seek
at the bottom of the water,
Limitless wet fun.

  1. Wonderful use of the prompt, loved the magical world you created for the creatures within it.

  2. Viola Cohen says:

    playful nature…

    excellent take on the wordle.
