Hello, Happy April!
Glad to remember today, for National Poetry Month activity, I am doing it in this blog,
visit them today to join, write, and smile…
The prompt for day two comes to us by way of The Line Break’s Tom Holmes. Write a poem inspired by the song that was #1 on the day that you were born.
The song is #1 on the day I was born in : Hey, Jude-The Beatles
According to Wikipedia, “Hey Jude” is a song by the English rock band The Beatles, written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney. The ballad evolved from “Hey Jules”, a song widely accepted as being written to comfort John Lennon‘s son, Julian, during his parents’ divorce.
My entry is a 55 word poem inspired by “Hey, jude”….
Hey, Jingle by Nicole Jiao Wu
Hey, Jingle,
Don’t feel sad,
Pick a fresh rose,
smell it close to your nose.
.
Hey, Jingle,
Don’t get upset,
You were made to pass wisdom,
Your encouragements will blossom.
.
Hey, Jingle,
Let’s
make
everything
Bingle!
.
Hey Jingle,
No gain, no pain,
Please refrain to obtain,
Be Cool
even if you appear like a fool.
This is my first year doing 30/30 for April. It’s challenging! 😀
